A Great Home Starts With A Great Foundation
Frost Protected Shallow Foundation Anchor System
Frost Protected Shallow Foundation Technology (ASCE 32.01)
combined with the proven strength of an engineered truss configuration provides an extremely cost effective HUD/FHA Permanent Foundation anchor system as an alternative to much more costly, traditional Post & Pier systems. Fully satisfies requirements for foundation supports and anchorage "below the frost line" in even the harshest freeze zones and frost depths.
Fully engineered and rated anchorage, support and bracing
meets or exceeds all load and anchoring requirements as specified in the HUD Permanent Foundations Guide for Manufactured Housing and qualifies as a Permanent Foundation for FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Conventional home mortgage loans.
Ideal for new manufactured homes as well as foundation retrofits for existing homes.
Existing homes do NOT need to be moved for installation. Installation typically takes only one day!
Requires NO onsite poured concrete, major site excavation or site disruption
and provides SIGNIFICANT cost savings vs. poured concrete. The system can also be easily installed on concrete runners or pads (new or existing).
Engineering/System configurations available for challenging situations
including Seismic (up to D-4 zones!) and Hurricane Wind Zones (Wind Zones II & III - 150 mph).
Professional engineering certification available with each installation
certifying compliance with the requirements of the HUD/FHA Permanent Foundations Guide for Manufactured Housing.
Compliance with HUD 24 CFR Part 3285
(Model Manufactured Home Installation Standards). The Model Manufactured Home Installation Standards were recently introduced, June 1, 2016, to states that do not have their own state-run installation programs.
The OTI All Steel Foundation Anchor System
is tested to Federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards (FMHCSS), Part 3280, section 3280.305 and section 3280.306.
Provides the engineered and rated lateral/vertical stability and anchorage
to prevent uplift, overturning or sliding due to wind, seismic or other natural forces.
Featured system in the
HUD GUIDE TO FOUNDATION AND SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR MANUFACTURED HOMES.
Engineered, designed and tested
to resist ultimate uplift and horizontal loads fully into Wind Zone III (hurricane force winds) plus 150% safety factor.
The system has successfully passed
all tests for gravity load resistance and seismic load resistance.
DAPIA (Design Approval Primary Inspection Agency) approved
by most home manufacturers and their DAPIAs for use on their homes as an engineered alternative proprietary foundation anchoring system.
The lateral and longitudinal bracing and anchoring prided by the OTI V Braces effectively resists wind speeds in excess of 150 mph!
Engineer/system configurations available for challenging situations including Seismic (up to D-4 zones!) and Hurricane Wind Zones (150 mph)
Professional Engineering Certification provided with each installation certifying compliance with the requirements of the HUD/FHA Permanent Foundations Guide for Manufactured Housing.
